Little Masters
How to tell the story of art movement? How can animation bring forth the differences and uniqueness of art movements, and show the historical evolution between one another?
In this playful and engaging piece, we worked with Ogilvy Vietnam on behalf of LANDMARK Shopping Centre, to deliver five separate portraits, each in a famous art movement style in order in which they developed historically – Baroque, Impressionism, Surrealism, Abstract and Contemporary.
This project is a perfect example of how our small team and network of freelancers worked really well, as we needed someone with an exact set of skills for this project in order to create each of the “paintings”.
These styles would then be painted in over footage of a young boy, who interacts with the brushstrokes as they tickle, poke and paint over him.
We also performed a number of small changes to the footage such as wire removal when the bowler hat is pulled off his head.
The video has since gained more than 55k views on LANDMARK’s Facebook page.
